Roland Racing has developed a clean sheet design canted valve cylinder head for conventional Pontiac (pre 1980) V8 engines. The heads/intake package gives a dramatic improvement in performance for the traditional Pontiac racer or enthusiast.  By utilizing low cost off the shelf valvetrain components, the performance upgrade comes at an affordable price. See "CV-1 Tech" page for details.

Two different intake manifolds are available for the new canted valve CV-1 heads. The single four CVI-1 is available now in 2 versions: standard and dominator flange. The CVI-2 intake can be ordered as dual four bbl, multiport EFI, or blower manifold. See "Intakes" page for more details. A 2" tall plenum spacer made of high temp plastic resin for the CVI-2 is now available that gives increased plenum volume for performance applications. See "Intakes" page for more details. A high rise single dominator race intake (CVI-1R) is currently in development and will be available mid 2011.
The VC-1 is an affordable cast valve cover for the CV-1 heads. The VC-1T is the first of a family of valve covers implementing a transparent feature. A high quality billet valve cover is now available through Propan or Moroso.  See "Valve Covers" page for more details.
