Attaboy goes out to Jason H. for winning the main event bracket race at Pontiac Heaven last weekend. Jason reported back to back runs in the 9.33-9.34 range to take home the title and the loot! Look for the write up in HPP, who was on hand for the story and to snap some pics of his beautiful '69 GTO.

9.07 @ 148mph!

New best for Jason's '69 GTO as he tweaks his tune up with out of the box  unported CV-1 heads!

1 second ET reduction w/ CV-1 heads...

on this stunning '69 GTO!  Well known midwest racer Jason H. decided to step up his game with a do-it-yourself 535 engine build. He knew he'd pick up over his 462 e-head combo, but was surprised at the amount on the second time out!

Old combo:                                                          New combo:
12cr 462                                                             13.5cr 535
310cfm E-heads                                                   unported CV-1's
roller cam                                                            roller cam
.
Old combo ran consistent 10.20 +/- .05 depending on track and weather. New combo ran 9.25 the SECOND time out! With some tuning, Jason will be knocking on high 8's with out of the box CV-1's!

Mighty T/A is back- 8.13 @ 170!

Robin Robert's famous '76 T/A was back in action recently at Speedworld in Phoenix. As the only non-BBC powered entry in the 20 car field, Mighty T/A drew instant visibility with his CV-1 headed 535. The competition was fierce, as the field consisted of seasoned veterans with supercharged and nitroused big inch powerplants. Between rounds, Robin and crew were battling a new problem... wheelstand! from the new BLP carb provided by Bill from APD. Robin says "the best carb i've ever run" was worth significant increases in throttle response, street driveability, and off the line power. When the smoke cleared, Robin's CV-1 T/A had advanced to the final round, losing to a wheelstand instead of his opponent!

Chassis changes and cage upgrades to the 3350lb T/A are being made so that Robin can get back to his quest of "the fastest street pontiac on the planet". Videos below of shakedown 8.58 @ 162 pass and final round "bumper launch".

Pump Gas Street Cruiser runs 9.86 @ 135mph!

Hats off to Jeff from RI for piloting his 3520lb GTO to a very respectable N/A performance. His combo consists of unported 10.8cr CV-1 heads and CVI-1 single four intake on a 511ci motor with auto trans. Jeff relates this combo is very street-friendly with water temps in the 180* range last summer while attending all the local car shows.
